If you want to learn more about the choices of colors in Joker I highly recommend reading this article with cinematographer Lawrence Sher and director Todd Phillips. Even though the behind the footage was not always easy to work with I mostly used my basic node tree. Except for the “bathroom”, “stairs” and “smoking” powergrade where I broke my rule and added some power windows.
